Most of the time, we live our lives within these invisible systems, blissfully unaware of the artificial life, the intensely designed infrastructures that support them.

Playskip was a final year project in Trinity College Dublin's MSc in Interactive Digital Media created by a team of five; with Fiona Hallinan as project manager, Alex Synge, Alex Hillel, Tarig Elomari and Ciaran Hickey.

Piles of obsolete technology, monitors, train sets, flowers, rocks, beads, seashells, currency and other objects representing systems underlying the world made up the installation. The material of the installation was collected for free using services such as Freecycle, skip (dumpster) diving or borrowing. People were invited to interact with parts in order to control visuals on the monitors.
