Keeping the Ground of Our Being*: I am co-curating a series of audio walks for the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. Part of a series of audio walk commissions called Deambulations, this collection is entitled Keeping the Ground of Our Being, and will feature original audio work by seven artists. More details to come soon.
*This title comes from the work of Gloria E. AnzaldĂșa
Majolica: As part of my PhD research, which looks at how a concept for the study of endings or that which is dead and dying could be established, I will look at a series of case studies of situations where endings are occurring. The first of these will be a residency at the Kunstencentrum Vooruit in Ghent, exploring how the closure of the current space of the canteen Majolica could be acknowledged and recorded.

Flourish from Fingal Arts on Vimeo.
In October I had the wonderful experience of delivering a workshop to Transition Year students at Blakestown Community School. The workshop, delivered virtually due to Covid 19 restrictions, introduced students to the notion and background of food as a material and theme in contemporary art. Special thanks to teacher Mary Quinn, videographer Killian Waters, curator Rayne Booth and Julie Clarke from Fingal Arts Office.A gif for the paired curatorial practice RGKSKSRG to illustrate the call-out for their 2015 residency project I Like To Eat With My Hands, at Cowhouse Studios.
