Virginia Mountweazel is a "deliberately incorrect entry or article in a reference work such as a dictionary, encyclopedia, map, or directory."
This work comprised a comprehensive collection of every corn snack found on the island of Ireland in 2009 displayed with a found text inside a museum display case accompanied by a three-part text on experience written by Patrick Bresnihan, and a drawing.
The found text displayed inside the vitrine is a short story describing the fleeting encounter of a commuter with the fictional character of Virginia Mountweazel at a petrol station in Urlingford. She describes the history of maize production to him in detail.
